Tom Lubbe of Domaine Matassa hails from South Africa but moved to France working for Domaine Gauby.  Here he put down roots, marrying and started Matassa in 2003 and has worked organically from day one.  He farms 12 hectares where everything is worked naturally without chemical aids; just some biodynamic preparations. A curious and intelligent winemaker.
